REOPENING OF FUTA CENTRAL MOSQUE FOR JUMUAH PRAYER
The FUTA Muslim community has decided to reopen the mosque for Jumuah prayer starting from Friday 5th June 2020
To comply with the directives of the government on re-opening of worship centres, members of the community are encouraged to abide by the following guidelines:
⏩ The Mosque will open by 12:00 pm for Jumuah preparations, such as arranging mats, situating washing stands, sanitizers, etc.
⏩ Members of the community are urged to cooperate with the officials or personnels in charge to ensure a harmonious Jumuah prayer.
⏩ Congregants must bring their face masks and put them on BEFORE entering the prayer halls.

⏩ Members of the community are highly encouraged to make ablution from home.
⏩ No more than TEN (10) PERSONS will be allowed to go into the ablution centre at the same time. Each person must wash his/her hands BEFORE entering into the ablution centre.
⏩ Congregants must wash their hands at the designated washing stands BEFORE entering into the prayer halls (for those who performed ablution from home).
⏩ Congregants are expected to sit at the MARKED AREAS in the prayer halls to ensure social distancing rules are obeyed.
⏩ Congregants are encouraged to come with their PRAYER RUGS.
⏩ The khutbah will commence, in shaa Allah, by 1:20 pm.
⏩ Jumuah solah will commence by 2:00 pm.
⏩ The Mosque will be closed by 3:00 pm for fumigation and decontamination.
