ABOUT 

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, FUTA branch is one of the several MSSN branches in Nigeria institutions, saddled with the responsibility to oversee all Islamic activities of students in FUTA.

MSSN FUTA being under zone B, Ondo area unit, Akure area council in the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria hierarchy was founded Shaban 12, 1373 AH (April 18, 1954 AD) and duly registered with the management of Federal University of technology, Akure.

MSSN FUTA for 2022-2024 Academic Session is currently led by Ameer Abdulbasit Oyewole, Naibul Ameer Muhammad Rasheed and Ameerah Babatunde Roqeebah, Naibatul Ameerah Abdulwahab Ameenah

MISSION

The branch oversees the Islamic affairs of students and organizes several programs for spiritual uplift of members. These programs include: Usroh classes, dawah nights programs, Arabic classes, rural dawah, school tutorials, iftar programs, JAMB, WAEC, IJMB, JUPEB tutorials and much more.

       The MSSN FUTA secretariat is located at Obakekere, Southgate just beside the School of Health and Health Technology building.  The society’s business, MSSN ventures is also located just beside the secretariat.

      MSSN FUTA has a business venture called Alfurqan ventures which engages in business activities at subsidize rates for students such as making photocopies, printing, sales of airtime,  sales of soft drinks among other things.
