ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Dawrah Programme is an inspiring semester-long initiative designed to nurture faith, deepen understanding of Islam, and promote unity among students. The Dawrah ‘Ilmiyyah (Intensive Knowledge Retreat) is more than an event, it is a revival of the legacy of learning that has shaped generations of believers. In an age of distractions and confusion, this Dawrsh calls you back to the essence of faith: Sound knowledge, sincere worship, and a heart attached to Allah.
What is a Dawrah
The term “Dawrah” (دورة) refers to a circle, a tradition where students gather to learn under teachers in a focused environment.
The MSSN FUTA Dawrah ‘Ilmiyyah revives this noble heritage by offering a blend of academic learning, spiritual reflection, and brotherhood among students of knowledge.
It’s a journey that sharpens the mind, softens the heart, and inspires righteous action.
Purpose of the Dawrah
The Dawrah is designed to:
- Understanding of Tawḥīd and ‘Aqeedah.
- Clarify Manhaj (Islamic methodology) through authentic scholarship
- Equip participants to face modern challenges with knowledge and insight.
- Foster humility, discipline, and purpose in the pursuit of knowledge.
- Cultivate a community of Muslim students who live by “Ilm and Amal”, knowledge and action.
