Kindness to our parents is one of the most beloved acts to Allah . It is through honoring and caring for our parents that we demonstrate our gratitude for the blessings Allah has bestowed upon us .
Allah commands us to show them kindness, respect, and love throughout their lives.
“And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, ‘My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.‘” [Quran 17:24]
May Allah grant us the ability to honor and cherish our parents, grant them long lives filled with peace and happiness, and reward us with His mercy and Jannah for being kind to them . Ameen
