PREAMBLE

Blessed Servants; Empty Stomachs. In the world today, Many people have wrongly earned this awful attribute. They are well blessed by their Creator in tons. They’ve got money, food and wealth in abundance but have only failed to cater for the less privileged—those who lack ie.

In fact, some are actually non-emphatical. They feel no one’s pains. “Bámú bámú la yó. Àwa ò mọ̀ bí ebí n pa ọmọ enìkóòkan” is their usual slogan. They’re ungrateful bunch of Blessed Servants forgetting that tons of al-miskins are out there with empty stomachs looking for urgent ways to make ends meet.

BOTTOMLINE

Allah Aazawajal has instructed us to be nice and spend from our wealth to others. This is because some people are, in fact, hungry but won’t bulge to ask for alms; while most others are usually not shy to seek for financial support to buy food to fill their empty stomachs. Being kind is one of the attributes that Islam has taught every believers since time immemorial. However, are the believers ready to follow suit the injunction of Almighty Allah or they prefer to revel in audio spendings?
