SEEDS OF TOMORROW

Seeds of tomorrow

They called us AI kids
The generation apps do things
Can’t think on our own
For technology has ruin us

Forgetting we still have will-power
But expectations no longer grew
Knowledge seems to have flew
And nothing is known

Since a lot was invested
Next generation is in danger
We are to grow into leaders
We’ve got to be readers

What do we know to teach?
When we don’t think we’ve reached
We can’t stay young forever
Not everyone realizes this together

Meant to grow in peace
Raised through pieces
Wounds, scars and traces
Patches upon patches

Thawed only to be torn
Battles ongoing for long
A step back , a trap
With broken wings that flaps

Such a deafening slap
They are dying and you’re clapping
You don’t deserve people’s snap
We are bounded by rage

Yet it is not a stage
Ready to be entertained?
And it is killing the seeds of tomorrow
Aren’t you afraid of repercussions

Reality made us know
The existence of God
When no one listens
To the pressure mounted

Newborns whimpers
Adults whispers
Only with God can we come clean
Whilst trying to figure life out

Parents always showing up
Expecting a lot from us
Where do we learn ours from?
Giving up was never in their dictionary

Voices filled with courage and hope
Nurturing the mind to be in loop
With new reasons to be aware
Chasing dreams to fuel the fire

Parents can be dramatic
We fights like enemies
Settles,laugh and cry
After the whole trouble

You can never win
Argument with parents
Seeds of tomorrow
What a lesson learnt

Distractions are never allowed
The only constant channel (news stations)
Your vocabulary must be flawless
Correcting means trouble

Unless you use your senses
Seeds of tomorrow grows
Kept muttering “I will never be like my parents”
Strong denial indeed is strong affirmation

Look where you are
Different place same character
And a even more stricter personality.

This is a powerful and resonant piece. You’ve beautifully captured the tension between technological dependence and our innate willpower.

It’s a mindful reminder that growth isn’t about rejecting the past but understanding it to forge a better path. Thank for sharing this heartfelt call to awareness. Thought-provoking work.
