#InTheLightOfRamadan Poem and PROSE by Alfurqan PRESS, Day 15

PREAMBLE

Allah (Aazawajal) has created human in the best of forms. He made him from a drop of sperm turned into thick blood, turned into flesh, and covered with bones. He brings out all necessary features he’ll need to live an hitch-free life in the cosmos and gives him abundance of health and wealth. He provides for his needs and protects him every day and night. Yet, man would still be an ingrate?

Allah (SWT) says in the Noble Qur’an:

”تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَـئِنۡ شَكَرۡتُمۡ لَاَزِيۡدَنَّـكُمۡ​ وَلَـئِنۡ كَفَرۡتُمۡ اِنَّ عَذَابِىۡ لَشَدِيۡدٌ‏“

“Also call to mind when your Lord proclaimed: “If you give thanks, I will certainly grant you more; but if you are ungrateful for My favours, My chastisement is terrible.
—Ibrahim (14:7)

BOTTOM LINE

As Muslims, the need to give thanks to the inummerable blessings of Allah on us is highly important for He, the Creator, covets those who give thanks to Him and replace for them their wealth in manifolds; and equally detests the ungrateful and for such people awaits severe torture and punishment in Yaomul Qiyyama.

The breath of life, sound health, good food, great family, good academics standing, good job, and even a sound sleep are all worthy to be acknowledged. When Al-khaliq gave us all these opportunities on a platter, why then can’t we say ‘Alhamdulilah’ and echo his blessings to the skies?
